Description
Brailon® 21×29.7cm (A4) is a plastic-like paper developed specifically for use with Thermoform machines. It features a slightly matte surface, is non-toxic, moisture-resistant, and safe for classroom use.
Brailon® provides the most efficient, realistic, and high-quality way to create tactile graphics and braille. Durable and reliable, it is also an inexpensive solution for producing accurate duplicates and diagrams. Since 1962, Brailon® has been the industry standard. Please note that using non-Brailon® materials with Thermoform machines may be hazardous.
Brailon® is available in plain, 19-hole, or 3-hole punched formats, with numerous sizes offered in both U.S. and Metric measurements. Custom sizes are also available—please contact us, and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.
All standard sizes are in stock and available for same-day shipment. For custom thicknesses, colors, or other specifications, please reach out to us for assistance.
Brailon® is Safe To Clean With Many Household Cleaners
Brailon® is a durable, plastic-like material that can be safely cleaned with many common non-bleach household cleaners, such as Lysol® disinfectant spray or wipes, Windex®, and Formula 409® (non-bleach formula).
Avoid cleaners that contain bleach, acids, or abrasive materials, such as Comet®, as these can damage your Brailon® sheets. If you are unsure whether a cleaner is safe, test it first on a small area of the sheet, or contact us and we will be happy to test it for you.

Free Matter Shipping
Please Note: According to E040 of the United States Postal Service Domestic Mail Manual: The ‘matter’ purchased must be for the use for writing by, or designed or adapted for use of a blind person, or other handicapped person. Publication 347 from the United States Postal Service also outlines the qualifications required for those to be eligible to receive Free Matter shipments. By instructing American Thermoform to ship your goods via Free Matter, you are certifying that you have read these documents, that you comply with these restrictions, and that you are eligible for Free Matter shipping.
Braille Paper, Brailon, Braille Labeling, and Swell Touch are the only American Thermoform products eligible for Free Matter for the Blind shipping through the U.S. Postal Service. Delivery times vary depending on your location. If faster service is required, we can ship via commercial carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL. UPS rates are available on our website; please contact us if you prefer to use a different carrier. For large orders, please contact us to discuss palletizing, air freight, or sea freight options. Due to USPS weight limits and restrictions, international customers must call to place orders to ensure accurate pricing and timely delivery. Free Matter shipments may be repackaged to comply with these requirements.
Please note: All goods are shipped F.O.B. La Verne, CA, USA. Once materials leave ATC’s facility, ownership transfers to the customer, and payment is required regardless of the condition upon arrival. While issues with Free Matter shipping are rare, ATC is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit. We will assist whenever possible, but claims related to Free Matter shipping may need to be handled directly with the U.S. Postal Service.
